SARATOGA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF AGING AND YOUTH SERVICES ANNOUNCES FARMERS MARKET COUPONS DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULE FOR AUGUST

Farmers Market Coupons Provided through the Elderly Nutrition Program

BALLSTON SPA, NY -- The Saratoga County Department of Aging and Youth Services will distribute its Elderly Nutrition Farmers Market Coupons to those who qualify at the following locations in August:

August 1st: 10:00-11:00am, Malta Town Hall, 2540 State Route 9, Malta

August 3rd: 1:00-2:00pm, Shelly Park Adult Community, 19 Elm Street, Gansevoort

August 4th: 12:00-1:00pm, Galway Town Hall, 5910 Sacandaga Rd, Galway

August 6th: 9:00am-1:00pm, Saratoga Springs Farmers Market, 112 High Rock Ave, Saratoga Springs

August 8th: 2:00-5:00pm, Clifton Park Farmers Market, 971 Route 146, Clifton Park

August 11th: 12:00-1:00pm, Greenfield Community Center, 25 Wilton Rd, Greenfield Center

August 17th: 3:00am-5:00pm, Saratoga Springs Farmers Market, 112 High Rock Ave, Saratoga Springs

Coupon booklets include five $5 coupons ($25 value) and a list of local farmers markets.

Qualifications for Farmer's Market Coupons:

Qualified individuals are those who are age 60 or older and earn a monthly income no more than $2,096.00 a month for a one-person household or no more than $2,823.00 a month for two-person household. One coupon booklet is available per eligible individual.

Coupons can also be picked up at the Department of Aging and Youth Services at 152 West High Street in Ballston Spa from 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.
