Welcome to the Town of Milton!
Our flourishing and charming town is located in the north eastern part of Saratoga County, New York. We are approximately three hours north of New York City and 2 ½ hours south of the Canadian border. The surrounding large cities are Saratoga Springs (5 minutes to the east), Lake George (25 minutes north), and Albany (30 minutes south). Surrounding entertainment venues include Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Race Course, and New York State’s Spa State Park.
Milton embraces the best of everything that Saratoga County and the Capital District have to offer. In the western portion of Milton reside the picturesque farms that support our local agriculture while in the heart of Milton Town Center is the economically growing suburban community with every amenity residents could desire. We have five established parks in the Town and are in the process of developing a new recreation park on Rowland Street. Our pride in our parks is deep-seated in a love for the outdoors and we will continue to rehabilitate the forgotten equipment and overgrown trails. As the Town continues to grow, so will our parks to meet the expectations of our residents and their families. We will be fully revitalizing Burgess-Kimball Memorial Park on Rowland Street with a new all-inclusive playground, passive recreation walking trails with stationary fitness equipment, and completely new softball fields.
Our Milton Town Center District is growing! We are rapidly improving our Town’s infrastructure and aesthetics on Geyser Road through a $1 Million grant from New York State Department of Transportation by adding sidewalks, curbs, and street lights. The expansion of local water districts are moving forward to improve water quality for residents. Established businesses are growing and expanding while new companies are contending for real estate in Milton Town Center to add to the amenities for the residents and visitors of Milton. Residential development is thriving offering more options for current and potential residents, either upsizing or downsizing.
We hope that you enjoy our Town as much as we do!
